Today marks the seventh annual NJCAA Day!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RANGER –  Today marks the seventh annual NJCAA Day! As a member of the NJCAA, Ranger College benefits in many ways. From the athletic events on campus, to students in the classroom, the NJCAA helps create opportunities for all associated.

Two of our students who have benefited over the past few years from their involvement in the NJCCA are Malarie Mican and Lilia De Lise.

When asked about their experiences, Malarie Mican noted "Being at Ranger College, I have received many opportunities in many different cases. I play both Volleyball and Softball, allowing me to grow in many ways. Being at a JUCO has allowed me to do what I love as well as accomplish my academic goals along the way. Not to mention the friendships made are worth a lifetime.

Lilia De Lise said "I think being at a junior college is a great route for many student-athletes. It gives them an opportunity to focus on their education while still being able to enjoy playing the sport that they love at a lower cost. Being at a junior college has given me great friendships and opened doors for me to continue my academic and athletic career.

This year, the NJCAA's comprehensive theme is A Million Reasons Why. It highlights the importance of the junior college experience and the countless opportunities presented at the two-year level in athletics and the classroom.
