Ranger College Sports Medicine Program

Ranger College Sports Medicine is committed to providing quality, optimal, and prompt health care to student-athletes. Our goal is to optimize their physical capacity and to protect student health and well-being through services such as injury prevention, physical/ orthopedic examination, first aid, clinical diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. We also provide an educational environment and clinical experience to student athletic trainers.

Ranger College Sports Medicine Program is a 2-year internship program that allows students to learn about athletic training. Ranger College Athletics is an NJCAA D1 program that is nationally recognized in multiple sports. This great environment will provide you with the basic knowledge of athletic training, modality application, injury management, basic anatomy, as well as hands-on skills learned from daily operation in the training room. This is a great learning opportunity for students who are pursuing a career in Allied Health Professions*. Ranger College offers recommended courses set up for a smooth transition to 4-year university Kinesiology programs. We have a strong relationship with Tarleton State University (NCAA D1, WAC conference) and transferring credits to Tarleton will lead you to their 5-year Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program (please refer to their website for application requirements and more information).
