The new year brings renewed excitement to Ranger College.
De'Torrian Green has been named the new Head Track and Cross-Country Coach for Ranger College.
Hailing from Troy, Alabama, Coach Green brings with him a wealth of experience and accomplishments in the field of track and field.
Athletic Director Scott Norwood noted that "Coach Green has a lot of drive and determination for his teams. I believe he will be a great addition to Ranger College and will be a dedicated coach for many years to come."
Coach Green has only been at Ranger for a short time but has already made a huge positive impact on his players.
"I just want to say Thank President Worrels for the opportunity and Athletic Director Scott Norwood for believing in me. I think Ranger needs something fresh with a culture change and I'm here to bring it, this isn't a job to me it's more than that. Track is a passion. I'm honored to be doing something I love. To everyone at home who stood beside me thanks to you for pushing me to never give up. The path to a High-Demand career started here and I won't forget it." said Coach Green.
As the Spring semester kicks off, we are all excited to see what Coach Green and his teams have in store for us.
