The RC Women's Soccer Team is on fire!

RANGER – The Women's Soccer team is almost as hot as the Texas Heat.

With a 2-1 start, they wind up the week crushing their competition by a total of 12-2 the last two games.

After a 7-0 shutout win over National Park College, and a 5-2 win over Dallas College North Lake, the Rangers are set to go back to the Regional Finals again this year.

Scoring has been spread out over the team, with the likes of Yamilet Martinez (#5 – 1 goal), Nataly Sorto (# 7, 1 goal), Melanie Cruz (#8 – 1 goal), Liberty Garza ( #9 – 2 goals), Hannah Nunez (# 13 – 1 goal), Loren Jara Canete (#20 – 2 goal), and Gabriella Trevino (#22 – 4 goals), not to mention the list of even more teammates with assists, saved goals, and pure hustle, Coach Guerrrero and Coach Anderson have this team well on its way to taking more wins as the season progresses.

The next home game for the RC Women's soccer team is September 15 at 2 pm against Cisco College.
