The Ranger College Lady Rangers scored two goals in the first half on Friday and then held on to claim a 3-2 victory over Western Texas College in Region V soccer action.
With the win, Ranger College improved to 5-4 for the season and, more importantly, moved to 2-2 in regional play. Western Texas fell to 3-5-1 and 1-3.
The Lady Rangers will return to action on Oct. 4 when they travel to Eunice, La. for a matchup with LSU-Eunice.
