Bio

Prior to Ranger, served as an assistant Coach and Director of Player Development at Houston Christian University where they were Denver Classic Champions and landed 2 Players on the All Tournament Team including the MVP of the Tournament. Was key in developing 2 All Conference Players in the Southland Conference, 2 All Academic Student Athletes in the Southland Conference, and 1 Player on the All Freshman Team in the Southland. Also was key in developing 1 current Pro currently playing overseas. 
 
Prior to HCU, At the conclusion of the 2021-2022 season, Tyler Doyle finished with a Head Coaching record of 8-0. He was pivotal in the development of NAIA All American, AJ Rainey, and the Red River Conference Freshman of the Year, Christian Coleman. Also in developing 4 All Conference players. He was key in developing a defense that helped the Generals hold their opponents to 2 points less per game than the previous year. He was also key in developing an offense that helped the Generals increase their points per game by 4 from the previous year. 
 
Prior to his first season as the Associate Head Coach for the Generals, he spent the previous year as an assistant coach at Panola Junior College.
While at Panola, he worked closely in developing three All-Conference players in Region 14 and one NJCAA All-American. He was key in contributing to a team that won 14 games in a 20-game COVID season while finishing fourth in Region 14. The program sent 4 players from the team to Division I schools and one player to a Division II school.
 
Prior to Panola, Doyle spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach and director of player development and two before that as a student manager at Louisiana Tech. During his two years as a graduate assistant, Doyle assisted in all day-to-day operations of the program, including travel arrangements, recruiting efforts and summer basketball camps.
The Bulldogs combined for 42 wins during his two years as a graduate assistant and three 20+ win seasons overall. During his final season, Louisiana Tech finished tied for second in Conference USA and led Conference USA in total wins.  He worked closely in helping several players earn All-Conference USA honors, including All-Conference First Team honors and All-Conference Defensive Team honors. Also worked closely in helping to develop a multiple of players that ended up in the NBA, G League, and multiple leagues all over the world. 
 
Doyle, a Pitkin, LA., native, earned a Bachelor’s in Sports Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech.
