The Ranger College Lady Rangers had their best defensive game of the season on Feb. 15 and, as a result, claimed a 62-37 victory over rival Hill College in front of a large crowd at Ron Butler Gymnasium.
Hill struggled to score against the Lady Ranger defense. The Lady Rebels trailed 38-14 at half. The second half was more of the same as Ranger cruised to victory.
Imani McNeal scored 21 points, including going 5-for-9 from three-point land. Bre'Asiajah Mathews added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Alena Wilson chipped in eight points, 10 rebounds and four steals.
