RC nets win over rival Cisco

Sparked by a big three-point shot fromBre'Asiajah Mathews with 7 seconds to go in regulation, the Ranger College Lady Rangers earned a hard-fought 71- 62 overtime win over rival Cisco College on Feb. 22.

Mathews' shot tied the game. After her shot, the Lady Rangers got a stop on the final possession to get the game into overtime.

In overtime, Imani McNeal hit two big three-point shots to start the extra period. From then on, it was all Lady Rangers.

Mathews led the team with 30 points. Alena Wilson added 12, while McNeal finished with 11.
