The Ranger College women's basketball team suffered a tough 64-49 loss to the McLennan Community College Highlassies on Feb. 6 in Waco.
With the loss, Ranger fell to 4-6 in conference play.
McLennan got off to a strong start against the Lady Rangers. The Highlassies outscored Ranger in each of the first three quarters of play and built a 53-33 lead at the start of the fourth.
Alena Wilson and the RC offense got going in the final 10 minutes. The Lady Rangers outpointed McLennan by a 16-11 mark in the stanza.
Wilson finished the game with a double-double, netting 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Angel Reese narrowly missed a double-double as well. She tallied 11 points and seven boards.
