Ranger College softball fell to Temple College in a pair of games on Wednesday

Ranger College softball fell to Temple College in a pair of games on March 6, 2024, with a final score of 8-0 for both games.  

Ranger struggled in the first game to get their offense going, with their pitcher Alyssa Meza giving up 6 runs in 3.2 innings. Despite getting 6 hits, Ranger was unable to capitalize on their opportunities and left 6 runners on base.

Temple's pitcher, H. Crawford, had a good performance, pitching a complete game shutout while allowing only 7 hits and striking out 5 batters.

In the second game of the day, the same run result occurred.  Ranger struggled to get their offense going, only managing five hits in the game. Pitcher, Jada Moreno, struggled on the mound, giving up eight runs on nine hits in five innings of work.

Ranger next faces Temple at home this Saturday. Games are set for Noon and 2:00.
