Ranger College Softball loses the series against NCTC with a pair of losses at home

In the first game of the day for Ranger College Softball, North Central Texas takes with win with a final score of 8-0. North Central Texas scored 8 runs on 6 hits while holding Ranger College scoreless on just 3 hits.

Ranger College struggled to generate offense against North Central Texas' pitching, with Jada Moreno taking the loss on the mound after giving up 8 runs on 6 hits in 4.2 innings.

On the other hand, North Central Texas pitcher R. Parsons had a strong performance, pitching a complete game shutout and only allowing 3 hits while striking out 4 batters. Offensively, K. Malone led the team with 2 RBIs, while R. Parsons, A. Mendez, T. Martin, A. Allgood, M. Lindsey, and L. Moon each contributed with RBIs as well.

In game two of the day, Ranger came up short again with a loss with a final score of 11-0. North Central Texas had a strong offensive performance, scoring 4 runs in the first inning, 3 in the second, 2 in the third, and 2 in the fourth.

On the pitching side, Alyssa Meza from Ranger College took the loss, giving up 9 runs in 4 innings. Meanwhile, K. White from North Central Texas threw a shutout, allowing only 3 hits and striking out 4 batters in 4 innings.

Ranger College Softballs' next game is this Wednesday on the road against Temple. The first pitch is set for 1:00 p.m.
