Rangers run to 5th at Region V Championships

The Ranger College men faced stiff competition against top-ranked teams at Region 5 Cross Country Championships this past weekend. Renowned for the powerhouse programs on Region 5, RC can count themselves among the best.

Despite running against larger colleges, the Pistols held their ground, finishing top 5 and upsetting several higher-ranked national teams.

Individually, the RC men starred. Paul Barmao led the Ranger men, setting a new 8-kilometer school record, running a time of 24 minutes, 57.3 seconds to break Jesus Macias' 10-year-old mark (2014).

The Rangers will be back in action in two weeks at a national meet in Richmond, VA.
