The Ranger College Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track season concluded this past weekend

The Ranger College Men's and Women's Indoor Track season concluded this past weekend with a meet at Washburn University in Topeka, KS.

Freshman Runner Tristan Galvan rewrote his own Ranger College record with a personal best of 51.00 in the 400-meter dash, finishing 87 out of 232 in the nation and 33rd out of 53 for the Meet.

Sophomore Ashlynn Barrett Finished with a personal best of 2:28.22 in the 800m run, finishing 56th out of 175 in the nation and 29th out of 51 for the meet. Barrett also placed 17th out of 32 with a 1:30.83 in the 600-yard run.  

In other news, Sophomore Rai'mond Harvey recorded a personal best of 51.39 in the 400-meter dash finishing 95th out of 232 in the nation. He was also 40 out of 53 for the meet. Additionally, Harvey placed 12th out of 28 with a 1:15.56 in the 600yd run

Freshman distance runner Victor Vasquez-Rosas finished with a personal best of 4:32.26 in the mile, finishing 90 in the nation out of 230.

Freshman Deonald Butler placed 58th out of 90 in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.25, which is a personal best for Butler.

Sophomore Jacobi Fields placed 51st out of 53rd with a personal best of 53.33. Sophomore runner Andrea Lopez ran 2:36.23 in the 800 placing 45th out of 51. 

This meet concludes the Indoor season for Ranger College. Their next track meet starts the outdoor portion of the season on March 8th at the SAGU Classic.
