Au, Rangers sink Weatherford

Brayan Au and the Ranger College men's basketball did its part to set up a battle for first place in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference on Monday by racing to a 90-66 rout of Weatherford College in the Betty Jo Crumm Graber Athletic Center in Weatherford.

With its win over Weatherford, Ranger College rolls into Wednesday's home game against Temple College looking to move into a share of the NTJCAC top spot. Temple College currently leads the conference race with a perfect 4-0 record.

Ranger College improved to 18-2 overall. The Rangers are 3-1 in NTJCAC play.

The victory over Weatherford came easy. Au scored 17 points in the first 20 minutes and helped the Rangers build a big lead early. Ranger College outscored Weatherford by a 45-32 clip in the first half and never looked back.

The RC men finished off the contest with a 45-43 run in the second half.
