Bio

Caitlin Hilberg is entering her first year as Head Athletic Trainer for Ranger College.


Caitlin’s previous work experiences include: the Midland (OH) Redskins, the Cincinnati Reds, Xavier
University Baseball, Xavier University Volleyball and several Ohio high schools. Additionally, Caitlin
participated as a volunteer member of the Rodeo Sports Medicine Team for the Fox Hollow Rodeo
(Waynesville, OH).


Caitlin is a former Division I athlete, competing in Rowing at Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX)
for 2 seasons. After being medically disqualified from the NCAA, Caitlin finished her undergraduate
academic career at the University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH). Caitlin then went on to Bowling Green
State University (Bowling Green, OH), where she earned a Master of Education in Kinesiology and
worked as a graduate assistant. After working as a strength coach for several years, Caitlin completed a
Master of Science in Athletic Training at Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH) where she worked as a
student athletic trainer.


After completing her second Master’s, Caitlin started her career in Sports Medicine with Beacon
Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. During her time with Beacon Orthopaedic, Caitlin
had the opportunity to work in high school, collegiate, and professional athletics, as well as work under
the directive of Dr. Timothy Kremchek, who serves as Medical Director to the Cincinnati Reds
Organization.
