Ranger bats can't keep pace with NCTC

On their third series in five days the Ranger offense was unable to keep up with the home-standing NCTC Lady Lions. North Central pulled away to win 13-3 and 7-2.

GAME 1

After grabbing the lead in the opening inning Ranger saw NCTC score four runs in the second and three in the third to take a commanding lead. The Lady Lions finished the opener off with a six spot in the sixth.

Allyson Rodriguez hit her third home run in four games. She added a double, single and two RBIs.

Whitnee Alexander drove in the Rangers other run.

GAME 2

After a big sixth inning in the opener, NCTC carried that over to the second game scoring three runs in the first two innings. Ranger cut into that lead in the third inning when Alexander and Bri Kowal smacked back-to-back singles cutting the lead to 3-2.

NCTC answered with three more runs in the fourth and kept RC off the board the remainder of the game.

SCHEDULE SAYS

Ranger will finally get a couple days off before they host Cisco College on Monday.
