Ranger Men's Basketball Defeats Grayson in Key Conference Game
RANGER, Texas — Ranger College's men's basketball team defeated Grayson College in a pivotal conference matchup on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025. The Rangers took an early lead, outscoring the Vikings 42-32 in the first half. Despite a strong comeback effort by Grayson College in the second half, where they outscored Ranger 45-41, they ultimately fell short as the Rangers secured the victory with a final score of 83-77.
Terrance Ramirez of Grayson College delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 35 points. Meanwhile, C.J. Evans of Ranger College contributed 27 points and 13 assists in 39 minutes of play. Kaylon Mason added 21 points, along with 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks, and 5 rebounds in 40 minutes, while Chase Collins scored 14 points, along with 3 steals, 1 block, and 8 rebounds in 36 minutes.
