Lady Rangers remain unbeaten

Paige Granstaff pumped in 15 points and Angel Reese added 14 more on Thursday, Nov. 7, and helped carry the Ranger College Lady Rangers to an 84-32 victory over the Paul Quinn College junior varsity in Dallas.

With the win, Ranger College ran its season record to 3-0.

Ranger College did most of its damage in the first 10 minutes of the second half. RC, which has averaged 84.3 points per game through its first three outings, pounded out 30 points in the quarter and blew the game open.

Sierra Mosley-Jefferson and Alena Wilson also reached double figures for the Lady Rangers. Wilson pushed in 12 points in the contest, while Mosley-Jefferson contributed 10.

The Lady Rangers will return to action this weekend with an appearance in the Coastal Bend Classic in Beeville. RC will open the tournament on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with a game against Blinn College. They will face Coastal Bend on Friday at 7 p.m., and then close out the event on Saturday with an 11 a.am. matchup with Palo Alto College.
