Six sophomores among RC grads

Ranger College head coach Bill Foy enjoys leading his team to victories. Almost as much as he loves watching his student-athletes earn their degrees.

Foy was among the proudest educators in attendance during Ranger College's recent graduation ceremonies. All six of his sophomore players were among the 200 students who walked across the stage at The Cowboy Church of Erath County to receive their degrees. The graduation ceremonies were held on May 3 in Stephenville.

"I couldn't be happier for them," said Foy. "I'm proud of everything they accomplished on the basketball court, and for what they achieved in the classroom. All six of them are outstanding young women who have bright futures ahead of them."

Graduating were Ny'Keria "Keke" Jones, Mar'Shalia Lollie, Ruby Angok, Jaylan Gulley and Shan'Qaylia Stanton.

The six sophomores helped Ranger qualify for its third straight Region V tournament in March.
