Rangers add Comanche golfer to fold

What do you do when you're the No.1-ranked golf program in the nation? For RC head coach Jared Harriman, you make sure to line up talented players to keep the program on top.

With an eye toward the 2020-21 season, Harriman inked one of Texas' top high school golfers to a deal. On Tuesday, Harriman announced Comanche High School standout Kasey Middleton had signed to continue his career with the Rangers.

"We're excited about Kasey joining us," said Harriman. "He has been recruited by some of the best college programs in Texas and we're glad Ranger was able to get him. This is huge for our program moving forward. He has had a great high school career and we look forward to him making a big impact for us in 2020-2021."

A state champion as a freshman, Middleton has proven himself one of the top prep players during his career at Comanche High School. He has advanced to the Class 3A state golf meet in each of his first three seasons. Last April, he won the Region I-3A title by 11 strokes.
