Bio

Kaycie Shannon is in her first season as the assistant coach at Ranger College. Kaycie has coached 2 club seasons as a student athlete at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. As an assistant coach she helped the 18's top team at Wichita Falls Elite to an appearance at Nationals in April of 2023 where they placed 27th. 
 
In her time as an athlete, she was a 4-year letterman out of Pleasanton High School class of 2019 and helped her team to 4 consecutive district championships, 2 area championships, and 2 appearances at the regional qualifier with 498 kills as a Senior. She was named 3 time first-team all district, 3 time academic all state, 2 time offensive player of the year, 1 time defensive player of the year and was awarded the TGCA all-star team. Shannon ended her high school career with 87 wins under her belt. 
 
After High School Kaycie signed her LOI to play volleyball at Ranger College, as a freshman and sophomore she was named 2nd team all conference and helped her team to a conference tournament appearance in 2020 with 411.5 points attributed in her time spent at Ranger. After her 2 years at Ranger, Shannon then signed on to play at Midwestern State University and suffered a season ending injury as a junior.
